Thanks to all of our NPE Visitors
It was great to see many of our old and hopefully new customers in Chicago. We enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by our booth and discussing new
products and solutions for the Plastic Industry such as:
A highly compact injection molding control system, the MACO®
Compact, which incorporates the advantages of a low cost,
expandable unit with a range of flexible options that can be
tailored to customer requirements.
A parison only
controller for blow molding machines, known as Maco®
Compact Breeze. Easy to use and simple to install, this product is ideal for retrofit purposes to a wide range of existing machines. Product trials have resulted in improved end product quality, and reduced material consumption and scrap.
A new extrusion control system, the EM-3c, that offers unrivalled control for small extruders. The product features built-in functions that manage temperature, pressure and drives with cascading control routines and bumpless transitions.
A melt pressure controller, the
3504, and indicator,
32h8i.
An innovative web based machine diagnostics solution.

Since the area of the table (A = π × r²)
is 1,256 square inches, solve for r²
by dividing 1,256 by 3.14. 1,256 square inches ÷
3.14 = 400 square inches
Then find the radius by
finding the square root of 400. r =
= 20 inches
So, 20 inches is half the diameter of the table,
or half the length of each board. Each board is 40
inches long.
To find the total area of the additional boards,
subtract the original area of the circular table
from the increased area.
2,696 square inches − 1,256 square inches = 1,440
square inches
Find the area of each board by using the formula
A = l × w.
A = 40 × 12 = 480 square inches
Divide the total area provided by the additional
boards (1440) by the area of each board to get the
final answer. 1,440 square inches ÷ 480 square
inches = 3 boards
