Injection Molding Retrofit

World class mold trial facility purchased MACO Compact System for one of their HMP Injection Molding Machines.

The customer is Injection Technologies, based in Windsor, Canada.

Challenge:

Current machines are 15 years old with obsolete machine controls unable to provide the processing and supporting data capabilities required for today's engineering materials and ultra sophisticated mold design.

Solution:

To maintain their world class status, IT chose to retrofit the MACO Compact control system for Injection Molding machines. The improvement in processing, tool change times and machine performance resulted in a plan to enhance all of their current machines over the next 2 years with the MACO Compact control system for Injection Molding machines.

The customer is Metro Custom Plastics based in USA.
