A career in Eurotherm’s Research & Development team is an opportunity to make technology happen.
Our R&D employees invent, design, and introduce new products for an array of markets and applications.
The largest centre is in Worthing in the UK, closely located with the core functions of the business. In R&D it is vital that Engineers understand our customers and combine their requirements with the latest technology to create products which meet customer’s current and future needs. The UK team works closely with Eurotherm teams in France, Italy and the USA, and with other Invensys teams across the globe.
We also have centres in France and USA. The team breaks out into different specialities: Software, Hardware, Mechanics, Software Validation, Engineering Support, Standards Conformance and Applications. R&D have a graduate programme working with Universities offering placements whilst students study, then helping junior engineers achieve chartered engineer status once they join the company.
There is a good career path available: from graduate entry right up to Principle Engineer. Professional Project Management training is available as is guidance from the more experienced engineers. The department has a good mix of very good long serving engineers and fresh new talent.
