The Series 2000 course consists of two days, which will cover 2100, 2200 and 2400 model controllers and indicators. The purpose of the class is to give the user total confidence in configuration, installation and operation of Series
2000 instruments. The class will appeal to both the sales and the technical side of the industry.
The first day will be class lecturing, and will cover the following subjects:
- Product overviews
- Instrument model coding
- Key handling
- Documentation and literature
- Hardware descriptions
- Instrument applications
- Programmer operation
The second day will be hands on, and will cover the following subjects:
- Installation and wiring
- Tuning
- Close loop operation
- Computer interfacing
- Troubleshooting
- iTools
Prerequisite: General knowledge of temperature control. Class size: 16 students. Equipment: A laptop computer is handy, but not required. Meals: Lunch will be provided. |

This course will cover the 2604 and 2704 multi-loop products. The purpose of this course is to give the user total confidence installing, configuring and maintaining 2604 and 2704 instruments.
This is a two-day course. The first day will cover 2604 and 2704 product overviews:
- Software and Hardware installation
- Hardware descriptions
- Model coding
- Concept of Toolkit Blocks and Advanced PID
- iTools introduction
The second day will be hands-on, and will cover the following subjects:
- 26/2704 configuration and soft wiring
- Close loop operation and tuning
- iTools to 26/2704 interfacing
- Hands-on configuration and application examples
- Troubleshooting

This course combines both the 2500 DIN Rail controller and iTools configuration software. The purpose of the course is to give the user complete confidence in installing, configuring and operating the 2500 DIN rail instruments using
iTools.
The course will cover the following subjects:

- Concept of Toolkit Blocks and Advanced PID
- iTools introduction
- 2500 configuration and soft wiring

The Power Control training class will consists of a one-day course, which will cover all TC series, TE series, TU series, 460 and 470 power controllers. The class will also cover how to apply power control in a real-world environment.
The purpose of the class is to give the user total confidence in configuration, installation and operation of Eurotherm power controllers.
The class will consist of both lecturing and hands on operation, and will cover the following subjects:

- Theory behind SCR power control
- Documentation and literature
- The best way to control different loads
- Single and three phase electrical power control

Description:
- This course is designed to teach students the basics of the PC3000 hardware, real-time operating system, digital communications, function block library and the WinPS programming software tools.
- The purpose of this course is to instill the knowledge necessary to develop applications specific to customer needs. Specific applications such as extrusion control, heat-treating, semiconductor and more are discussed.
- Eurotherm will provide PC3000 hardware and computers loaded with the E-Suite/WinPS programming tools to be used throughout the training course.

Description:
- This 1-day course is designed to teach students the basics of digital fieldbus communications as applied to the industrial automation environment.
- The purpose of this course is to instill the knowledge necessary to compare, purchase, install, troubleshoot and maintain those fieldbus options offered by Eurotherm/Barber-Colman - modbus RTU, modbus +, profibus DP/DPv1,
DeviceNet, modbus/TCP-IP and FTP.
- Eurotherm will provide digitally communicating controllers and computers to be used throughout the training course.

T800 Visual Supervisor as a complete system, or as separate components. The course also includes instruction using the Eurotherm Project Studio software package when used to configure the above hardware. The class will appeal both to the sales and
technical side of the industry.

LINtools configuration software is used to monitor and interact with control and sequence strategies running in remote instruments across the LIN or ALIN network, providing a versatile commissioning and strategy debugging toolkit.
LINtools is used to configure T640 and T800 instruments. This training course will be a one-day class, and is intended for operators and engineers who would like a better understanding of LINtools when used with Eurotherm devices.
The following subjects will be covered in this course:
- Installing LINtools on a PC
- Configuration of ALIN and SLIN ports
- LINtools overview
- Explanation of control block functionality
- Navigating the Eurotherm Network Explorer
- Example control loop using ALIN communications to a T640 LIN instrument

Eurotherm Suite is an enterprise automation solution that matches the needs of any project - from a small process unit to a complete plant. The requirements of operations, engineering, maintenance, financial and plant management are
addressed by Eurotherm Suite providing complete control over every aspect of a system's lifecycle. Open access to plant information is key to maximizing every opportunity to increase returns on plant investments. Real time access to performance
measurements allows immediate action to improve plant throughput.
Prerequisites for this course include a general understanding of Eurotherm process equipment and Microsoft Windows operating systems. Also, it may be useful to bring a laptop computer for software installation, although computers will
be provided for training with Esuite software installed.
Eurotherm Project Studio is a combination of hardware and software training. Below is a list of the components covered.
