Configuration Port

Direct connection between the LME - LDE and a PC is possible using the CPI adaptor. The CPI allows easy connection between the instrument configuration port and the PC RS-232 port (COM1/COM2).

PC-based EROConfig software speeds and simplifies configuration by providing guided menus for complete instrument set-up. EROConfig software also allows you to save and copy complete instrument configurations.

New Timer Functions

Four timer functions are provided in the new version of the LME- LDE. The timer provides control over the selection of the working and standby (SP1/SP2) setpoints.

Timer - Mode 1

"Energy saving" mode.

Functional overview:
When the machine is not used for a predefined time, the instrument switches to a standby temperature setting.

Typical applications:
Glue and laminating machines.

Advantages:
1) Energy saving
2) Waste reduction
3) Extended maintenance interval

Timer - Mode 2

"Cooking" mode.

Typical applications:
Ovens
Bakeries
Thermostatic baths
Incubators

Variants:
"Guaranteed soak" timer operates when process is within defined temperature limits.
"Output power off" function instead of maintenance temperature.

NOTE: With the timer running, the lower display indicates time remaining

Timer - Mode 3

Same as "Cooking" mode but with "End of cycle" indication.

Typical applications:
Laboratory apparatus:
- Stirrer with hot plate
- Thermostatic baths
- Ultrasonic cleaning baths
- Incubators

Variants:
"Guaranteed soak" timer operates when process is within defined temperature limits.
Maintenance temperature instead of "output power off" function.

NOTE: a “special” with internal audible alarm is also available.

Timer - Mode 4

"Paint" mode.

Typical applications:
- Paint drying ovens

Functional overview:
The timer starts when SP2 is selected. If guaranteed soak is selected, the timer starts when SP2 is reached. OP2 may be used to control air recirculation during the drying period as well as indicating the dryer is operating.

Variants:
"Guaranteed soak" timer operates when process is within defined temperature limits.
"Output power off" function instead of "painting" temperature.

NOTE: During the dry phase the lower display shows the remaining time.
