OPC and Eurotherm

EI Bisync Protocol

Eurotherm has introduced 2 new OPC drivers that permit these temperature controllers to be used directly in an OPC application. These include:

808s and 847s 818

For 808, 847, 809, 849, 815, 818S, 818P or 818P15 instruments -- OPC Driver for 800 Series instruments -- written, sold and supported by Matrikon.

This OPC driver works with the EI Bisync protocol instruments.

Modbus RTU Protocol

2000 family The Series 2000 family is compatible with iTools, an OPC driver package written, sold and supported by Eurotherm Controls Inc. The instruments include:
  • 2216, 2208, 2204 controllers
  • 2216E, 2208E, 2204E enhanced 2200 controllers
  • 2416, 2408, 2404 controllers
  • 2301 controller plus SSR
  • 2500 Din-rail mounted mini system
  • 2604 one, two, three control loop product.
This OPC driver works with the Modbus RTU protocol instruments in the Series 2000 family of products.
