Two Recently CE-Approved Carbon Controllers

November 1, 1995

Eurotherm Controls Inc has improved its two carbon controllers in order to meet the CE approval requirements. CE approval will be mandatory January 1, 1996 for any equipment used in Europe.

One of the two controllers is the 818 Carbon Controller which provides standard carbon control for heat treating facilities. A simple menu program permits the instrument to be used with a variety of carbon probes. This controller is also available with PC-compatible communications or analog retransmission for use with a chart recorder.

The second controller is the model 900 EPC which supplies the ultimate in carbon control capability. Simultaneous carbon and temperature control plus ramp/soak programming are available. Probe burn-out routines are standard. Custom operator screens, expandable digital I/O, and communications are also standard.
