Although V3.0.0 was intended to be the final version, it was discovered that there were a couple of bugs in it particularly with the "Parameter Change" and "User Parameter" options so it was decided to fix these bugs. With development open, it was additionally decided that it would be useful to add a debugging option and add the 32H8 controller. The new download has not increased much in size so it is still approximately a 1MB setup file and has again been tested on Windows 2000, XP SP1 & SP2 computers. It should work on Windows 95, 98, NT but it is not intended for use on Windows 3.1 or earlier.

This digital communications demo supports the 2000 Series, 900 Series (single and dual loop), 90 Series, 800 Series, 760 & 842 Indicators, T630, all TU and TC3001 SCR power controls, Barber Colman 560 protocol instruments, and Marathon Monitors Inc. "MMI X" protocol instruments. This is a 5 meg zipped file that is used on Windows 95, 98 or NT computers. It is not for Windows 3.1 or earlier.

Latest upgrade addendum for the Communications Sampler, Eurotherm Sampler 2.1.6: 
Click here to download the 2.1.7 addendum that adds the 2200E instruments and the 2408i indicators.
To install this addendum, simply download the self-extracting .exe file and double click the file from windows explorer to start the install process. Then follow the instructions.
NOTE: Users should know the directory that the Sampler 2.1.6 was originally installed in. The software version should now report 2.1.7 in the Help menu, (about area) after the installation of the addendum.

Old Version Communications Sampler Eurotherm Sampler 2.0: 
1. Click Here and prepare to download esampl20.exe to a hard disk. A temporary directory would be best.
2. Run the esampl20.exe program. It will self-extract all of the installation files to that directory.
3. Run the installation program setup.exe, which will create a Eurotherm Sampler 2.0 Program Group (Windows 3.1, 3.11, or NT 3.51) or a Start Menu Folder (Windows 95 or NT 4.0).

Request the 1-disk V3.01 Sampler (3.5" IBM compatible) from info@eurotherm.com Earlier versions can still be obtained on disk but they will be on up to 3-3.5" IBM compatible  disks
